This could have easily ended up in another police shooting, and it would’ve been completely justified.

IMO the Officer showed great restraint. If somebody were to reach for your weapon, the intent would be to use it. This could automatically trigger an adrenaline/limbic response from the Officer, which can over ride logic and cause him to do far worse. Well trained.

Because now in the new police reform it is customary for a police officer to offer their weapon to someone who has broken the law in an act of solidarity with No Lives Matter anymore

when i see the total # of officer involved deaths, it always blows my mind, because people who really know, and not just twitter/virtue signal know, understand there could possibly be 10x that amount based on the behavior of suspects. kudos to another officer holding it down

It takes a lot of courage and self discipline to be a LEO. Thank God this officer is okay.
