Seems UP is officially a Police State now. 🚩A team of Mathura Police arrived to arrest a Man named Rakesh against whom there was a warrant in a family property dispute case. 🚩When the Police arrived Rakesh was having bath and Police caught him and not allowed him even to wear his clothes. 🚩Later they assaulted him when he asked them to show him the court order. 🚩Not only this the Policemen smashed him with a brick inside a private car 🚩And top of that Senior officers of MATHURA POLICE are justifying this brutal use of force by the police. 🚩Why Police can not show the warrant? Makalu in Nepal, whose height is 8,485 metres and which is the fifth highest peak in the world and Mount Annapurna, whose height is 8,091 metres and which is the tenth highest peak in the world, for climbing. Raphael Tuju is not a terrorist. He did not deserve to end up in ICU. What happened to him was police brutality, plain and simple. I accompanied him to the police station, stood with him in court, and visited him in hospital because that is what is basic humanity and decency, indeed what the law demands. Those who call that scavenging clearly misunderstand both leadership and the Constitution. But then again, that is not surprising given their records. The Constitution of Kenya 2010 is not negotiable, and neither is the dignity of every Kenyan citizen.
