You take a liberal justice like Elena Kagan, and apart from what I reported in my book about how she left her colleagues to die, they respect her. I don’t think that Ketanji Brown Jackson has any respect, even from her liberal colleagues."

In a lone dissent, she argued that if a judge feels like something is an injustice, they should have broad power to fix it. That undermines our entire legal system. Where in the Constitution does it say that a judge should have the power to just ignore convictions and let people go because they believe they're righting a wrong?
