Em Theay is really lovely. 💕 She’s a Cambodian classical dance teacher who openly admits and never claims that Thailand copied Cambodia that “Cambodian Royal Ballet” actually came from the Thai royal court. Back when she was a royal court dancer in Cambodia, the performances in the royal court used Thai language. In fact, Thai was mostly used for communication within the royal court. But later generations of Cambodian dance teachers refused to acknowledge this and changed all the lyrics into Khmer. #cambodia
