It's my belief that Black Americans should never forget about slavery but the terrible treatment they have received from this country. I think a better question may be "What are we whyte people going to do to make amends for the fact that our ancestors treated Black Americans so poorly?!?! Reparations would be a good starting point. Also, giving Black Americans real estate as was originally promised would be a good idea.
