Why do Catholics pray the Rosary ?

Also, 1) Engulf demons in a holy fire. 2) Protective holy halo which causes the demons not to have such a grip on the body, soul, and mind. 3) Learning to meditate for the ability to listen (discernment). 4) Protecting others thru prayer. 5) Obedience to Christ and Mary.
