Why do drivers on phones make themselves SO obvious?

So you rant and rave and go on about a bus getting to close to you the other day, but today you squeezed your way passed one just to call out a car driver.

And how is it 2 meters when you squeeze between the cars and the bus? We’re supposed to give you the space but drivers don’t get the same courtesy if it suits the cyclist.

You're literally splitting lanes with no more than a foot on either side of you to the vehicles. And you're doing so behind a bus with limited visibility. And you have the audacity to complain about someone who's sitting still and no risk to anybody at all at that moment? You're why people hate cyclists.
