Why do famous celebrities do this to themselves?

I’m turning 63 next month. I look in the mirror… would I like a “face lift”? Sure. I’d like to turn back a few years. But we all get older. My husband loves ME, not my face. I’m the one who needs to come to terms with the fact I no longer turn heads when I walk into a room. And that’s ok. Life is more than vanity. Vanity can be an obsession. I will be happy to ‘look good for my age’ - however long God gifts me to live. Let the wrinkles and age spots come. 😃

They were all so beautiful before transitioning to caricatures.

Plastic surgeon here. Having dealt with celebrities often, I can tell you that this is a combination of bad advice and eagerness to please. Plastic surgeons often don't want to refuse a celebrity's requests, no matter how outlandish. I have guided many away from these requests.

The sad part is they don't realize that they are deformed now.

They look like they are wearing a paper mache likness of their own face. 🤮

The 2nd one, Jocelyn, is the most shocking. She was beautiful. Aging gracefully is a challenge. I was a model,actress, pageant winner & I don't recognize myself in the mirror today, but I still would never get plastic surgery because I have no desire to destroy God's creation.🙏

Body Dysmorphic Disorder

You’d be surprised. I got an eye lid lift and a nose job about 20 years ago. Used to get Botox and once people started saying you look 20 years younger the obsession started. I had to wean myself from Botox and wanting more, those two procedures weren’t enough. I was smart

"Everybody does it". I think they get used to seeing the people around them get a little lift here, a little fill there. At first they look good and seem to be holding back time. Everyone wants it. Gradually it becomes too much, too gradually for them to stop it in time.
