You don't jump on a horse for the first time alone without riding with an expert. It's a bad idea and very risky.

Very risky.

What a terrible coach and why is he on foot? I give her kudos for staying on because some other person would have jumped off, in fear, causing serious injury If he didn't have a horse, they should have practiced in a fenced area

I guess he set her up for that🤣

New riders instinctively grip the horse with their legs and heels to avoid falling off. The horse interprets this as a "go" command.

Firstly, you never, ever put someone with little to no experience in an open space or a large area. Always start to learn to ride and get your seat in a small ROUND corral. Nobody gets hurt that way. This is unacceptable and both the woman and the horse could have been severely injured. With that said, this had to be a set-up, otherwise her ass would have been on the ground in 3 seconds.

Because horses can sense fear and feed off it, she fucked up. She told him to go with her legs and heels. Newbies always squeeze their heels to grip, and that’s the go word. He shouldn’t coach anyone. The horse should have been on a lunge line for a newbie. So many things wrong here. Luckily neither got hurt.

Because the horse can sense their fear and they fed off of it.

Lmfaoooooo like its hilarious but also really scary bc like if you don't know how to handle horses that literally can become deadly. Also if that horse isnt a training horse/ used with different people there is 0 reason she should be on it. Like 0.

She's already holding the reins too tight. It's like holding the brake and pushing on the gas.

The horse was looking for a barn or some shelter. That’s why it ran to the trailer first, It was scared.

As an experienced rider, this made me laugh so hard, but there was so much wrong from the start

That horse smelled green rider the second she threw a leg over and decided to take charge. Real hand keeps a lead rope on ’em, starts in a round pen, and walks alongside ’til the new person finds their seat and learns to whoa. Not boost ’em up in open ground and let the pony write the lesson plan. That fella ‘explainin’ it’ talks and moves like he learned the whole thing off a phone screen. Never pushed cattle, never worked a real string. City boy playin’ cowboy. Dangerous way to do business — somebody’s gonna get hurt doin’ it like that.

I’m impressed by how long she was able to stay on!! one time I had a horse run me right into a fence post, which I just grabbed a hold of her dear life while the horse kept running 😂

I was put on a retired racing horse named “oreo” and my family just let me hold on for dear life. When they tried to catch up he kept looking back & speeding up 😭 someone screamed pull the reins. I grabbed ones side and yanked! He only slowed enough for them to catch up! 😅 I didnt fall off tho! 🙌

Horses are very intuitive. You have to earn their trust. If a horse does not know you, you cannot be indecisive . You must have the confidence to command them. They are smart and if they sense you are not confident they will play you.

They know in the first 30 seconds if an experienced rider is on their back. Thats how long it takes them to know who the boss is. In this case the horse. A horse does not mind be “directed”. But he wants to know you are confident. If not, then they get nervous. They will do what you want them to do if you know how to tell them. If not…. Well this is what happens. Her butt is gonna hurt for days. She held on pretty well though. She’s lucky she’s not in the hospital.
