Why do people still resist arrest?

Because they know there might be a payday involved

People resist arrest for several reasons. One valid reason is if the officers are illegally trying to arrest you, you have a right to self-defense.

You can feel when someone wants to take your life.

We don't trust police anymore. They arrest you for nothing.

It isn’t smart people who end up in these situations in the first place. I don’t see them making smart decisions once in the middle of the situation.
