If you've ever heard bearings gone bad you'd never forget that sound .... "Packing" bearings is a must. Looks to be a proper job there 👍👍👍

Grease is cheap. Metal bearings… expensive if they go bad. They will go bad, without grease.

We use similar bearings on aircraft landing gear axles. The standard practice is to use a ton of grease.
