We’re going to see more and more of this now I’m afraid. People are talking absolutely no chances. Our government have allowed that many hostile people into our country who have committed crimes against women and children within the first few months of being here, people are now extra vigilant and will act wether people are guilty or not. We cannot blame this on racism or nationalism. We can only blame the government. They have betrayed both the British people and immigrants who have come here and done everything the right way and don’t harm anyone. It is them who will bear the brunt of the nations fury.

So we wanted to also share one last thing. One of the things we pride ourselves on is trying to get people to care about us soccer and the us national teams. In whatever form that takes our job is to help grow this fan base. As an example… We lost sound the entire game tonight at one of our parties and the fans stayed the entire 90 mins and anthems with no sound. Body to body singing the whole damn time. And our other watch party had a mile line long to get in. These things don’t just happen it takes a ton of work. So sometimes we will post things to try and get someone on the fence to go ok ya I want to go to that. And sometimes we will post other things. Tonight we were proud to be us soccer supporters.

This is not what we Ukrainians would want to see from our windows in winter. It would be better if the voices and laughter of children making snowmen or playing snowballs echoed from the courtyards of residential areas. One could step out onto the balcony and watch that very scene while sipping a warm tea or coffee, rather than the sights we see now. You cannot distract yourself from thoughts of the war for long; it continues, and everything around us tries to remind us of that. Over the years, the brain tries to pretend it has adapted to everything happening around it - to what the ears hear and the eyes see, to the various situations that occur here every day. But sanity is always on guard, and an inner voice says without words: this is not a normal life for a human being; if only everything could return to the way it was before. But is it even possible to return to the life we had, carrying such an experience on our shoulders? … Now, in the "points of warmth," you can see beds. You might ask: are these for overnight stays? The beds are intended for people who need assistance in the event of an emergency or for medical reasons, as well as for temporary rest if a person is in need of it… but people are still forced to return to their apartments.

I think a big mistake is believing that if something is here, we should be able to see it. Right? The lights in the sky and the pilots or the gods or whatever they are? I think we assume out of arrogance and ego. An insect can crawl across your hand and never understand that you are a whole entire being. It only experiences pressure, heat, vibration, and movement. A fingertip appears. A shadow passes. The insect never sees the body attached to it. The insect does not have access to the full image. Ever. I think our situation may be exactly the same. Whatever people call the phenomenon, nonhuman intelligence, gods, or something else entirely, may be present in full while we only register a portion of it. We notice effects, not the actual being. Changes in perception. Anomalies. We expect a face when all we are capable of sensing is the fingertip. Let me explain. Reports are always partial and strange. Lights, shapes, impressions, symbols, missing time, pressure, fear, calm. None of it ever shows us a full being, or the real craft; because our senses are not built to assemble it.
