If stealing is that easy for you it would suggest that you have never learnt to earn your own upkeep in your life and were just given everything. We need to go after these people, mainly because we need to maintain the society we have spent 100s of years building.

We pay for the thieves' food as well. Losses from theft are factored into the price. Greggs don't take the loss. They pass it on to us.
