Why do we hear so much about exorcisms in Catholicism but far less in Protestant circles?

Demons cannot dwell where The Spirit resides

You need to attend a Pentecostal church my friend.

Because the popes are fascinated with evil. Pope Francis called the betrayer Judas, evil incarnate and a devil, his "brother".

Because we don't cast out unclean spirits to be seen by men to be praise by men.

Because Hollywood has dramatized exorcisms and associated them with being a Catholic function. Some in Protestant and Orthodox churches perform exorcisms, also.

Because demons love false religions. They dwell within the walls of every false religion building!

Every baptism in the LCMS church contains an exorcism. We have more exorcisms than the RC.

The late chief EXCORCIST of Rome… Fr Gabriele Amorph. I encourage folks to read his last words and works. Demons fear the Catholic Church & its culture.

Because protestants don't expose their devils?

Catholics are the OG. “You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church.” Protestants came 1500 years later and now have a million versions of themselves.

Because ROMAN Catholicism is an inherently superstitious tradition. And it has been such for many centuries now. This was one of the main reasons why the Protestant Reformation took off in the first place. The Prots were seeking to oppose all the various superstitious practices of the late Medieval Church. And they did protesteth much against these egregious sins and errors, too. Luther did it. Calvin did it. Zwingli did it. They all did it. And at the heart of the RC superstitiousness is their doctrine of transubstantiation. Which is at the heart of everything RCs live and breathe for. They actually believe that the inner-essence of the wine and the bread get transformed into the (literal) body and blood of Christ at the moment of the consecration of the host, when the priest says the words of institution. All the "accidents" of the bread and the wine stay the same; but somehow, way deep down in the bread and the wine, there is a transformation of the inner-essence of the same (or a transubstantiation of the inner-substance of the bread and the wine). Now apply all this superstitiousness that goes on at the heart of the mass for RCs to demon possession, exorcisms, and the like; and it only makes sense that this same superstitiousness will leak out into all other areas of their thought and practices. Superstitiousness begets more and more of the same. And none of this should be taken to imply that there is no such thing as demonic possessions, or demonic activity in our day, either. It's just not as prevalent or as widespread as many RCs make it out to be.

Frank @MrsErikaKirk is CEO and can speak for herself. Tell us what did Danny Phillips hand you at 12:20, then you put into your back pocket, then strangely seem to be videoing a cop walking at the back of the tent. Everything about that terrible day isn't normal 😡

Because they are all demonic. That wing of Christianity has gone quewquew

Target-rich environment.

In the street, we see the opposite. Including Catholics getting delivered. Jesus is the Christ, He offers the Gift of His Holy Spirit especially for eternal life and understanding. No denomination can save, Jesus saves and Him only. Read His Word with Him. 🙏🏼💦🩸🔥❤️🕊️

Apostolic Authority.

Because satan doesn't have to worry about those who choose falsehood. He spends his time and effort attacking those who choose the truth.
Tell us why

Wait -- which group is the New Testament church included in, in the context of this question? Catholic or Protestant?

Because you’re looking in the wrong Protestant circles

1. Catholicism has 1.4 billion members so in general, more people turn to their own denomination. 2. Catholicsm, through Jesus, has been driving out demons for 1500 years longer. 3. Many Protestants and non-Christians turn to Catholicism for exorcism.

Hmm I think it’s demonic to lie abt your first hand witnessing of events related to the assassination of your good friend. This guy is a weirdo

I was raised Catholic. I never saw an exorcism. Saw them in movies, portraying a Catholic priest.

Oh FFS 🤦♂️ Give it a rest about Erika & TPUSA! It’s not demonic to criticize.

Weak. No authority. Clearly.

We just send them off to Congress.

Catholicism is #1 in spiritual warfare!

Catholics like a good show

A demon cannot posses someone who is indwelled with the Holy Spirit.

LIAR!! It was “Roof” … NOT, ROOF(S) you FUCHING LIAR!! We see the text!! You are a demon!! You LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING!!
