@fgthiel The Strategic #Bitcoin Reserve is an inevitability, countries might oppose it at first but over the medium-long term they need to embrace it. Far superior technology to store and send energy & value across time & space. $BTC x $MARA

Respectfully this is a bad take. If you frame yourselves as payment processors you open yourself up to money transmitter laws and will be asked to censor transactions. Not to mention even if you went offline tomorrow the network would continue to operate and adjust flawlessly in a few weeks and if you censored those transactions would still be processed by others in the network. In those respects you are nothing like Visa.

@fgthiel Interesting he mentions visa and Mastercard because weren't both those companies also involved in Kenya when Mara signed that historic deal?

@fgthiel No matter what the bitcoin price is - @mara will be at $25 the most . Only management get the price & benefits and shareholders are always hammered unfortunately. They should think about the shareholders as well hence why management keep announcing on X.
