Getting killed because u tell people to wash their hands is crazy

Damn, our evolution from monkeys was a slow one

🤯 In 1847 at Vienna General Hospital, young physician Ignaz Semmelweis noticed a deadly pattern in the maternity wards: women treated by doctors were dying of puerperal fever far more often than those treated by midwives. At the time, doctors and medical students regularly performed autopsies on corpses and then went straight to deliver babies without washing their hands. Semmelweis suspected they were carrying infectious material from the dead to living mothers, so he ordered everyone to scrub their hands with chlorinated lime before examining patients. The impact was immediate and dramatic. Maternal death rates, which had been as high as 10 to 18 percent, dropped to around 1 to 2 percent, and in some months fell nearly to zero. Despite the clear results, his colleagues rejected the idea because it implied doctors themselves were responsible for the deaths. Semmelweis was mocked, blocked from publishing, and eventually pushed out of his post. He died in 1865 after developing a fatal infection, never seeing his work accepted. Only years later, when germ theory was proven, did the medical world finally recognize that his simple hand-washing rule had saved countless lives.

this should be happening to everyone who thought he was dumb

If I was this guy, I'd haunt so many people, and I'd be very petty about it !

Absolutely insane, the medical world is brainwashed, they're stuck in their ways

Thank God for Islam the prophet Muhammed ordered us to wash hands to the elbow, face and feets multiple times every day 14 hundreds years ago.

I wonder how many new “hand washing” techniques exist today and no one believes because humans love to stay stuck in their own ways

This one hits different every time 😭 Ignaz Semmelweis was centuries ahead, saved thousands of lives with a simple idea… only to be mocked, institutionalised and die from the very infection he was trying to prevent. The irony is brutal. Thank you for telling these stories so beautifully, Zack. We need more people knowing the real history behind everyday things we take for granted. 🧼❤️

Really makes you realize how stupid people really were years ago.

And now they have different doctors who handle births and deaths Also both was hands

bro my biology teacher taught me ts but didn't tell me that he was seen as a crazy guy, sent to an asylum, then was beaten, then died wtf

The video demonstrates why health professionals wash their hands.

Reality or fiction @grok

He was hero, but

Semmelweis reflex is common is medicine. Lister and Pasteur proved Semmelweis correct.

Just how many advancement could have been made if people listened to the smart ones throughout history?

Leviticus 15 was ahead of its time about hygiene

A good example how a majority of idiots can destroy everything

and still today we treat peoples warning like that.

this is literally my entire life from beginning to end

Bro saved millions and they locked him in an asylum for it .. 🤯 Humanity stays undefeated.. 👏

They still don’t wash their ass

@grok tell the story and facts of Ignaz Semmelweis's 1847 discovery that handwashing reduced maternal deaths in Vienna's maternity wards

Even without watching, we do know the obvious reasons behind it

No way he died from something he preached against

White power

Good

This is so heartbreaking :(

He was a time traveler

Yea, apparently their pathetic ego is too big to accept something that makes absolute sense

@grok how true

You have to realize people were stupid and didn’t know better
