Let me give you another bit of history. Back in the early 2000s in Dearborn Michigan, Arab shop owners tried the same thing with black shoppers. They met for their annual business meeting and decided that we were "a consumer class" and had no rights. 9/11 HAPPENED THE NEXT DAY!!!
