Because the movie executives don’t care about the animation department. So they don’t meddle when they have smart and creative people running in the show. These animation projects are spearheaded by fans, the movies are made by people who don’t give a shit about comics.

Nahh… I’m tired of characters being bashed through several buildings “multiple times” without actual impact. Just little bruises and torn sleeve. Besides “X-men’97/evolution, WHAT IF..?, Eye of Wakanda & Marvel zombies” Give me a good Marvel animated show. What I’m saying is, they’re good at animation, but it’s no more their core.

They always have. They gate keep so many Batman IP’s it doesn’t get talked about enough. This is what the die hard fans want in live action. I still appreciate the animation films but they do Batman fucked up in live action.

Drives me crazy, whoever writes their scripts for the animated movies needs to be in charge of movie scripts as well. The Animated shows are much better than their movies nearly every time.

Jay Oliva and Sam register. Know their names they are the back bones behind almost every DC animated project outside of Bruce Timm. These guys really care about the art and are faithful to the source material, which is really hard to find nowadays and directors because they want their own space to take artistic liberties.

They don't want to give DC the R rating it desperately needs as well as making things too realistic. I don't need my batman grounded. I need my batman doing batman shit, like disappearing in a blink of an eye or flipping off a 4 story building & landing on top of car with no dmg

That shit isn't true. They lock in sometimes and I think their peak stuff is better than Marvel. Their problem is cinematic universes and consistency. Theu drop great solo projects at times

Penguin, Watchmen, Lanterns, Peacemaker, Superman, I don’t know what u talking bout they not as consistent as we would like in the theatres but they be hitting,ppl just love 2 shit on em when they do bad, they dont acknowledge there ain’t been nearly as many misses lately

Because they realized that animation makes it better than live action. NOW HOLD ON before I get ripped to shreds . Live action is good however!!! Animation for comic book character just makes more sense and you can honor the look and feel more authentically

I mean, you do realize how long production takes with animation right it isn’t just made in a day plus the grand scale of the comic book alone is massive so they have to think about how do we make this into a film
