Sadly, the fight for women's rights is not won yet. Not outside Europe and also not inside Europe. We saw what Hamas did to Jewish women on October 7. We saw the troubling images of a young woman defying the despicable morality police in Iran. We know that Sharia courts do exist in Europe. Everywhere, rape crimes are too often unpunished. This morning we started the confirmation hearings in the LIBE Committee Press I urge the European Commission to make sure rape is criminalised equally all across the EU and there is one justice system for all women. On our police and justice bodies: Since its creation, Europol has received strong support from the Member States and from this Parliament. I myself am a strong supporter of our police forces. However, good police work is wasted if justice doesn’t follow. The police need to see that their work is leading to change; people need to see that justice is being done. Justice Jackson has continually shown that while she says she doesn’t believe in an imperial Executive, she does believe in an imperial Judiciary. Today, I joined America's Newsroom to break down Justice Jackson’s sole dissent in Trump v. AFGE. After over a year our Government has not had a single formal talk with the US regarding USMCA? Mexico has had them, but not Canada. Canadian industries are right to be concerned. Mark Carney was installed to usher in an agenda that Canadians never voted for. He is not working for Canadians. This 12yrs old girl deserves justice. Her health is not looking good. Doctors said she might be left paralysed in one leg, life long. None of those influencers picked up this case. No one glued posters to walls asking for justice. KTR didn’t held a press conference demanding justice to this poor kid. Revanthudhin didn’t take it up personally to get updates on the case. Is this because Md Gose belong to BRS party that all are silent? As no one paid to run a justice campaign they all seem to have ignored this poor girl.

The issue of the Russian shadow fleet in European waters is an issue for the EU and wider Europe. It's about internal legislation – changes to the law to enable confiscation of Russian oil after the sanctioned tankers are stopped. Not to let them go free in three or five days after a court decision. They lose almost nothing in most cases, only a little bit, because they were stopped for a few days. That's why we need confiscation. We don't need Russian oil and don't want to make money from it. I saw this video, and I felt for this woman. To go through a case and court trauma for 13 years, not being able to work or travel, and be declared not guilty after that is ruinous. As a lawyer, I think many people are being ruined by the justice system, starting with a poor police investigation, the decision to be charged, and being convicted or released. We may have an opinion about a particular person or case, but we are not necessarily right. She felt it, and she knows it. Our justice system literally ruined her and many others.
