Why does Ironmouse do Subathons all the time? Well, I think money is definitely a big factor, along with the reality that a large portion of that money will also be donated to the IDF... the Immune Deficiency Foundation. On top of needing it for her treatments, I think... at some point that money will also someday lead to discoveries for better therapeutics. More eyes, more funding in the future, a possible cure someday. But some of the other stated reasons are just kinda sad. Subathons mean being online for long stretches of time, which is the only time she gets to interact with people, even if it's just through a screen. One of the stated reasons for her starting streaming is because she was deathly lonely. She has done some pretty shitting things throughout her career as a VTuber and screwed over a lot of people. People aren't purely good or evil, but for someone like her, the contrast is created through sheer desperation. Will I ever be a "fan" again? Probably not. Not that I was much of one, but I did have more favorable opinions of her in the past. But that doesn't mean that I hate her or that I wish the worst for her. Being sick, lonely, and trapped doesn't give license to treat people poorly in underhanded ways, but I do genuinely hope that whatever effort she does towards CVID actually ends up helping a lot of people with the same condition. And if you are still a fan, I don't blame you either. The fandom is toxic and often unhinged, but I also get it. The fans are protecting their "fragile sick queen," but at the same time, that toxic energy gets cringe quickly. As I said before... It's a life I don't wish even for my worst enemies.show more

I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there, if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. And the funny part is, one day my fleet of Tesla Bots will probably be doing it for me anyway. But until then, I’m good doing it myself. Bc to me, being wealthy was never about trying to look rich. It was about building a mindset. A mindset that values time, discipline, and freedom more than appearances. And once you really live that way, it shows up in a lot of things, even something as simple as cutting your own hair.

seeing how hyoyeon did the challenge with arno really made her words hit deeper... while she might not be directly referring to arno but... she is really so kind 🥺🥺🥺 💗how should i say this but initially when i debuted i felt that i was one of the members didn't get a lot of opportunities as we had quite a lot of members 💗when i look at the rookies now, there is always a visual centre or someone that is always filming dance challenges, feels like (the company) keeps only pushing 1 member but by their side there are members who has the "i can also do it" expression. while they might be giving good reactions like "wahh" but you can feel the ambition in their eyes, so i feel kind of sorry for them as i was like that too 👤i get it, it's not like they are faking their congratulations but it just feels a bit empty, their eyes feels empty... i can understand as i am also aware of these feelings 💗so they tend to catch my eyes more and i tend to ask them for their names as i have been through that before...

I lost some of my faith in people yesterday. Do you all remember this story of the woman we found on the road carrying a dead child? Around 3pm yesterday while I was at the hospital, I got a call from Ope Ola Grace. She sounded really confused. I asked what’s wrong then she said she saw this woman at Lafenwa begging for alms among the beggars. I told her to wait there and make sure she doesn’t leave, that I am on my way to confirm with my eyes because it can’t be possible. I got there with Seeker of Truth and it was indeed true. I couldn’t believe what I saw. How’s this possible?? We set up a business worth around N300k for her last December, gave her money, gave her husband extra money to keep. Enrolled her kids (all 3 of them) in school, supplied all needed school materials for one year. Bought at least 3 months worth of food supply for them as well. The Hon Commissioner for women affairs Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye also sent delegates to her with lots of needed items; 25kg bags of rice twice in the last 5 months, 10 crates of soft drink for the wife in January. The commissioner also made sure that her husband was among the 100 beneficiaries of the N100,000 disability grant of the RHI shared on the 17th of April by First Lady Remi Tinubu in Abeokuta. He confirmed that he received the N100k the same day. I called her at the spot to show her the woman and she was confused too. Like, “Jack, what else could we have done?” I asked people there, they said she’s been begging with them for more than a month. When I explained in details all the help we have provided for her in the last 5 months, they got angry, saying she should leave. That’s not even the worst part of this story. The worst, I fear, is she appears pregnant again. However she insisted she’s not, that she just ate eba, that’s why her stomach is big. We took her back home, the husband (visually impaired as I stated then) said he was not aware that she has been begging, and he can’t see, so no way to confirm if she’s pregnant. Everyone in her community said she goes out for 3-4hours everyday when the kids have gone to school to get ‘supplies’ for their mini-stall. I made that video with Tina laying beside me today. I had to make as much time for her as I can because she is so special and asks for so little. Tina taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of days. She has everything she could possibly want in terms of vet support, treatments, food and company. She is still upbeat and positive in her attitude but the body is starting to say no. It’s incredibly sad and I’ve damp eyes even writing this but this is real life unfortunately. I even contemplated not sharing any bad news updates about her as I don’t want to upset people. Tina is deeply loved by more people than she’ll ever know. I’m hopeful there can be some more good days ahead for her. ❤️

i wish this wasn’t real, but bro!! this was my experience just this morning, this was someone i took on a date last week of december, we were meant to meet up again, but she had to leave for service(in the east) on her arrival we couldn’t talk, i texted her on snap(see first media) but she didn’t reply, two days later i texted her on whatsapp and the message didn’t tick twice, it was then i realized something is wrong, i had to call her, she explained to that her phone got bad on her arrival, she asked me for financial assistance, i sent her the money to fix the phone, days later she didn’t mention anything about the phone, then i had to ask her during one of our conversation, it was then she told me that “it’s a panel issue, it cant be fixed anymore” i sympathized with her then continued our conversation, days later she asked for another money for the same phone fixing, i explained my current situation to her, i told her about the expenses on me and i can’t spend anymore money out of budget, she grumbled and sighed, i had to apologize to her lol, just two days back i noticed she reposted a post on her ticktock and the message on whatsapp finally ticked twice, i asked her on call if she has fixed the phone, she said no, saying that the money i sent won’t be enough since it’s panel issue, i said okay,( though i was suspicious but i didn’t make a big deal out of it) lo and behold i came across her tiktok page with a new post(content) i asked her about the phone and this was her response(last media), i deleted her number and blocked her.💔💔💔

I mean you do have a very good point, however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.

This mom makes her eleven year old son walk a mile around the neighborhood before he can have any screen time. She said she does this to regulate his mood and energy, to build discipline to let him know fun comes after the effort, not the other way around, and, it reduces arguments - you work first and then play later, the expectations are set. Many people focused on his walking around the neighborhood by himself but she says she lives in a neighborhood where she feels very comfortable. A lot of people applauded her for making her son get outside, that it was not only healthy for his body but for his mind as well. She said this is not a punishment. I think kids in this day and age need to be forced to get outside. Too many of us allow them to stare at screens all day long. I applaud her for her routine with her son. What do you think of her morning routine for her eleven year old son?

This part is the most personal to me. Thank you Freen for taking the time to listen to my story 🥹. I thought about whether to tell her as it’s still a sensitive topic for me, but I’m glad I did. I asked Freen to draw me a pawprint to represent my pets and as a future tattoo. There was a bit of confusion as to what I wanted (hence previous video where I accidentally filmed the translator 😅). I was also nervous so my English wasn’t very good either in that moment and idk I didn’t think to just point at her tattoo. Thank you Freen for taking the drawing so seriously, I was so surprised. I told her she could just draw any pawprint, but she actually reached over to zoom in on my dogs photo and bless her because as you can see you can’t see her paw pad at all 😅, but she took the time and effort to really draw it. I really should’ve found a better photo, but it was a bit of a last minute decision to ask her to draw and I was already tearing up looking through photos of my dog. This moment will forever be precious to me and just showed me how kind and generous she is. Even writing this post I’m in tears. I can’t ever imagine not loving her. The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? Same driveway. It wasn’t that long ago I was knelt down in that same spot, taking the training wheels off her bike. Holding the seat. Running alongside. Letting go before she knew I let go. Today the car was packed, and she pulled out of that same driveway - headed to Ole Miss. She said goodbye to the dogs. To her brother. To me. And she took a piece of my heart with her 💔 I’ll see her in a couple of days. Doesn’t matter. It still hurts. But I thank God for the ache, because it means I got to be here for all of it. I get to watch her journey. I get to hold space for it. And she needs to know this, always: This is your home. I will always be here. Go be great, Princess. Dad’s got you. I love you infinitely ❤️💙

I'm a 35-year-old American I've lived in Argentina for 5 months so far in 2025 Here are the some things I like more about Argentina than the USA: -It's SIGNIFICANTLY easier to make friends in Argentina. Seriously, I lived in Colorado for the last 10 years, and I was beginning to think I was some fucking weirdo bc of how small my social circle was. The social life here is just so organic. If you're not a weirdo, you just attract friends...especially as an ex-pat. Everyone is always about milling around the city, playing sports, drinking mate, going to cafes/boliches/concerts/events. I don't know why, but in 5 months here, my social circle is already bigger and stronger than the one I had in 10 years in Denver, Colorado. -Politics isn't life here. There's some type of weird brain virus that's destroying the minds of the American people. Politics has seeped into every aspect of the culture fabric and it's become this weird, unavoidable daily reality. In Argentina, the people are well-informed about politics and global affairs, but it doesn't dominate the conversation. Very refreshing for me. -People are generally healthier and more beautiful. In general, the Argentines are some healthy, skinny, beautiful mf's. The men, the women, everyone. No radical Ozempic intervention is required here. -People have less money, but more time and more soul. Average wages here are absolute shite, and so is the Argentine Peso...but people seem to have more time, more energy and less stress, generally. People in the USA have a lot of money, but not a lot of soul. Here it;s the opposite. I've confronted some of the dark aspects of the economic realities here, but generally people are extremely present, laid back and "amable". I'd describe the people here as passionate "life-enjoyers." They are passionate about everything they do. They do it with gusto, soul, and UMPH. Mate - We love that shit Soccer - Hell yeah Hanging out at the park with some dogs - WE Live for this shit Living here has made me appreciate my life so much more. It's a very life-affirming place that gets you in touch with what actually matters.

Dear Genshin Impact fans, In my nodkrai video I said that Natlan’s music was nice but felt shallow, my mistake in this was not elaborating on why. I said it in passing and didn’t consider the word choice. I’m gathering that people assumed I was referring to the PLACES being represented by the music Which is preposterous because I would never criticize a culture or place, as I’ve always felt that is genshin’s strongest element. I assumed you would know it was obvious I was talking about the musical composition and structure not what that music represented (the people and the places) I’m sorry if you felt that I was spitting in the face of your culture. As a multicultural person myself and soon to be married to a multicultural person as well, I would never ever do that. I am saddened that you may have felt that. That said, subjectively, I felt natlan’s music was nice. But, a bit too easy listening to my taste. Part of the reason I have filmed so many Genshin videos is due to the musical complexity it showcases. Not just in the western soundscape but also in other regions that are represented. You’ll recall I defended this very thing a year ago when the music was representing African culture. At that time I was lambasted on this platform for saying that people of color were not being represented properly in game. I’m perplexed why you would think I’m suggesting the opposite now, even going so far as have people claim I am “racist” which is a bridge too far. In any event, I’m sorry for any hurt feelings. It’s clear to me that if I’m going to say something, I should be clear about what I mean.

A few days ago Jerod McDaniel shared a quote along the lines of “horses made for war don’t dance well at weddings” I think there are a lot of people like myself that know how plants… or livestock.. or a pasture or even building a house or pouring concrete work. We just want to do what we do. The weather worked out well this year for this. We’re going to be 👍 I could grow about anything, but I like to do it my own way. I sometimes wish I didn’t have to predict or guess what people will do… or markets… and the all the corresponding things that entails. I know you can’t just do your craft, but sometimes you want to just immerse yourself in something you have a more complete understanding of. I watch people like Adam Chappell do this with cotton. Zack Smith come up with farmonius designs Intergrazing livestock. We could do so much cool shit, if only we could just have the local markets, infrastructure… if the average person could have that connection and means to trade with the local farm / farmer that just wanted to just do it…be him or herself Maybe I left you hanging with the main idea here. I think there are a lot of different people who are really good at different things, but many of us have to sand off our edges that give us our edge. I love to think in the lens of the 🌱
