Why does nobody have any objects anymore?

I have loads of objects. I'm poor but if objects were riches, I'd be set! Sometimes I just want to look at all the objects I've collected but then I have to stop because I'll never be done. My objects tell a never ending story. I haven't given up on objects I lost decades ago.

I have too many objects. Then you get married, and you have like twice the objects. It’s pretty cool.

Don't get attached to materials. It'd just stuff. Yeah. Maybe someone won't like the antiques or whatever you treasured. But it is just stuff. When you're dead. People are going to go through it and most of it is going to the dumpster. Just right in there. They are not going to have a second thought about why you kept that stuff or why you liked it so much. They are not going to care. It's just trash to them.

Because if the purpose of owning something is to get attention we were raised to view that as superficial and fake. Unfortunately being opposed to that makes the world a lot less novel but yeh people hate the idea of being shown as fake and cringe.
