Why does the FDA do a bad job?

Seems like classic regulatory capture, which critics of the regulatory state have been talking about forever. Regulators need to be experts, but there is never an untainted source of experts. It’s inherent, and not just in FDA. An unfixable flaw.

Why are you still eating chemicals?

Would laws like “If you work for the FDA, you are prohibited to work for a pharma” be effective?

100%! For some reason so many physicians feel threatened by AI though and try to find every excuse in the book of why it’s bad. Not sure why they feel this way though.

💯 Talking from my own personal experience as a device inventor who witnessed the most dishonest and unscientific FDA review, the regulations are selectively applied and skewed to promote FDA devices from larger manufacturers while suppressing those from smaller ones. They're indeed setting up for their future careers by stifling competition

But aren't you a pharma shill? UCSF gets tons of money from pharma. Why aren't you questioning UCSF? Because they pay you not to.

Well said

Remember when the FDA approved Comirnaty (so the vax could be mandated) but Pfizer only ever made available the EUA labeled vials? Beyond just a bad job. Eeeeeevil

Too much money is involved. Money talks.

Real talk

Was this at NASA? You’re wearing a NASA shirt. Do you study cancer treatment in space?
