Why does this happen

Kid spends maximum time with the mom, so given an opportunity, the Kid wants to spend some time with other family members first. The Kid knows that mom is always available, so she is his/her last preference. 😳🤔😍

Let mom leave tho, baby start flipping out

Babies might feel the pressure to pick mom, but since she's always around, they often check out other options first before going back to the most familiar and comforting choice.

Probably because the baby is around mom all the time.

They are the most fun because they have additional responsibily. 🤔🤔 However, when they really really need someone, they will go to mom. Mom makes everything better.

I'm not even sure the baby understands the concept of going to the least favourite person. Anyway, it shouldn't make a game out of it.
