Why does Thor look weak without his hammer i thought he could control lightning😭

In the comics and MCU he can control lightning without the hammer. This is just the 2013 Avengers Assemble cartoon nerfing him so Doom looks threatening until Mjolnir shows up.

Thor without Mjolnir always makes people forget he’s still the God of Thunder.

Because Mjolnir focused and amplified Thor’s power; the lightning was always his.

Maybe the comics but not my Thor at Ragnarok

They really nerfed Thor just to make Doom look scary.

Thor was never powerless without Mjolnir, he just lost his focus. 😭

Mjolnir channels it, it doesn’t create it. Show just forgot

Thor without Mjolnir really had everybody thinking the hammer was doing ALL the work. He had the power, he just hadn’t fully unlocked it yet.

He can control lightning. The hammer was never the battery.

Mjolnir mainly helps him focus and channel his power, while his physical strength and lightning abilities are still his own. So when he looks weaker without it, that’s more about how the MCU portrays the fight than Thor actually losing his powers.

Seeing how emotional she was made the win feel even more special. Lisa really has come a long way as a solo artist.
