Personally I’ve always been a fan of the Walther P38. Brilliant handgun. I never understood why they got rid of the open barrel design.

Aren't they unsafe to carry bc the striker can be triggered on the side, I think they're doubiously dropsafe, and their triggers are propably too light for a carrygun. Though the last two don't stop people from carrying 1911s.

Nearly every other handgun on the market now can beat it in capacity, reliability, accuracy and aftermarket support is mainly why, it was good in its time as a service pistol though.
