Prayer isn't God being a genie and granting our "wishes". It is voicing our concerns and struggles and telling Him simply that we trust in that which He has already decreed. Everything has already been decided since the beginning of time. You can't alter God's plan with prayer.

So if you’re trying to test the hypotheses that god answers prayers…hmmmmm…conveniently untestable

I heard a Christian say he prayed for his anxiety and depression to be gone and the next day it was gone. That’s where I draw the line.

But if life is short why would God want us to go slow, wouldnt we run out of time hoing slow
