Why doesn’t the US eat more red currants?

I want cloudberries from Norway! And Huckleberries from Montana. I'd love to try Marionberries too.

Currant jam is superior to virtually every other jam* *excluded apricot

You need to make some redcurrent jelly with them. Perfect for any sort of roast meat.

We used to have a couple of currant bushes when I was a kid. Whenever we made the mistake of telling my mom we were bored, she’d tell us to either pick weeds or pick currants. I miss currant jam,it was okay
