Why doesn't the US have universal healthcare?

Most people don’t realize that even before the billions they received from the US in the past year, Israel has been given 2 billion dollars annually by our government. They have received this amount for a number of years. And for any naysayers, it’s easily found information.

The numbers are staggering

We've got to build the world's supply of bullets and bombs, plus pay people billions of dollars to keep up their wars.. How can we afford common sense ideas like caring for our people? 😭🤷‍♂️

The insurance mafia? They had the biggest gain when everyone has to buy their product They have tons of money to bribe politicians and have lobbyists making sure usa makes its citizens suffer

We gotta stop this racket

Historically it was always shot down because white men didn't want black and brown people to also have hc afforded to them. In recent history, it's for the same reason, in addition to profit incentives and payoffs of our govt to prevent it from ever happening.

And we pay for them to go to college for FREEEE

Why can't we have the same things. It makes no sense.
