The joke makes no sense. "Even in the chicken world, they don't want to be around their children." How are eggs "their children"? I see what he was going for, but even his obnoxious, self-satisfied swagger couldn't pull off this poorly-written joke.

That’s the elegant thing about Tony’s comedy: he can take something complicated from his own life, remove just enough self-awareness, and turn it into someone else’s problem. He didn’t exactly miss the irony. He just decided it was funnier from a distance.
