As a gesture of goodwill towards drivers, I sometimes pull over to allow "faster traffic" to pass. But to be honest I do it because I get an enormous sense of satisfaction from passing those same drivers again while demonstrating the inefficiencies of cars on urban roads.

A school student died in Jodhpur after being hit by a vehicle because the traffic police blocked one way traffic to allow the chief minister's VVIP convoy to pass smoothly. CM was going to attend a program to celebrate the #IndependenceDay

Why don't we like to obey basic traffic rules? No enforcement or carelessness?

RECKLESS RIDERS: Police rush to stop a large group of cyclists trying to take over the Oakland Bay Bridge in California. Authorities say the cyclists rode straight at moving cars, weaved through traffic, and came dangerously close to pedestrians. At least 85 riders were detained and their bikes were seized.

'Cyclists never pull over to let vehicles pass' - usually given as a justification for dangerous driving. Yes, we do. A little close but slow and careful. A wave and a blink of the hazards and on we go with smiles on our faces.

Cyclists refuse to allow vulnerable female pedestrian to cross zebra crossing safely failing to stop… When one cyclist does give way while other cyclists crash into him ….. Cycling groups continue to support acts like this …… Anti pedestrian cycling groups and people wanting cyclists to be shown as more vulnerable than pedestrians..

Why don't cyclists have to leave 1.5m when overtaking motor vehicles? Is it one rule for them and another rule for everyone else?
