The Srinagar Highway in Islamabad became the scene of fierce clashes today as police fired tear gas to disperse supporters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. The clashes came as Khan made his way to the High Court where he was meant to attend a hearing on charges brought against him for selling state gifts. The court subsequently postponed the hearing as PTI protesters breached the premises of the court grounds and started pelting stones. Police had earlier raided Khan's residence in Lahore after he left his home to head for the hearing.

After this, we will proceed to Adiala Jail to join Imran Khan’s sisters in support of their long-overdue and rightful demand to meet him. For several weeks now, Imran Khan has been unlawfully denied meetings with his sisters, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, his lawyers, and party leaders—in clear violation of court orders. The entire nation is deeply concerned about his health, as even his personal physicians continue to be denied access. Today, his sister and the Chief Minister attempted to meet the Chief Justice at the Islamabad High Court but were unable to do so. This unlawful isolation must end immediately. #GiveAccessToImranKhan
