Why Goku Vs Saitama is a unfair matchup

Saitama should win for no other reason than the fact that Saitama has never been depicted taking damage, nor shown using his actual full strength. Even against garou, he was fighting one handed while protecting Geno’s core, and specifically trying not to kill Garou because he promised to let him live. And he took no damage in that fight. Both Saitama’s strength and durability are unknown, with no limit in sight. He can’t be scaled. Any limit death battle assigns to him is just them making shit up.

I feel like this is being over analyzed. Saitama is a parody/satire character. He can be as strong as the story he’s in demands. He has no actual limits. That being said I think whether he wins or loses to Goku in a fight just depends on the story not actual strength/abilities

Death Battle also uses composite most of the time (Not all the time), so Saitama might the retconned feat. That’s why Sasuke lost to the Yuyu Hakusho Character. They used a filler anime feat.
