One more issue which is of serious concern is the shrinking number of elevation of advocates from Bar to Judgeship. Lately, only people from district Judiciary r getting appointed to HCs. Whenever an Advocates name is recommended, union govt either sits on that name or rejects it

Given the vindictive n deliberate delay by Govt in clearing names for appointment n transfer of judges, Supreme Court must set a particular timeline/time limit during which it's recommendations vis a vis transfer n appointment to be acted upon. Failure will attract CoC.

Govt interference in judicial appointments n transfer is a serious issue which hampers the independence of judiciary. Govt, being the biggest litigant, should not be part of judicial appointment n transfer as it amounts to serious conflict of interest.

Supreme Court must take over n assume to itself the entire process of Appointment n transfer of judges. Judiciary being a separate n independent organ of the state, it should enjoy complete autonomy n independence to manage n look after its own affairs.

A high-level, time-bound departmental inquiry must be ordered, and if the allegations are proven, exemplary punishment should be awarded and both officers dismissed from service. This is not just a fraud on the government, but a betrayal of the people of this country. This is precisely why government institutions have lost credibility in the eyes of the public.

Habba: I believe in separation of powers and you are not allowed to influence or try to influence the judiciary and federal judges. You are not allowed to use open investigations to intimidate… It is inappropriate and obstruction and it is wrong. You can't do it. The separation of powers is so important because it prevents tyranny. It's exactly what we are not supposed to see.

Sejal Pawar is the prime example of why no one in India should be made a doctor due to reservations and why reservations should at least be banned in this field Reservation policies in medical admissions and recruitment need a serious national debate because lives are at stake. When lives are at stake, competence must come first. Reservation in healthcare deserves a nationwide debate, because patients need the best doctors not a system driven by quotas.Merit must come first India has lost an insane amount of talent & wealth creation to other countries due to Reservations.
