I really like how many little moments Oda gives Zoro in Elbaph to highlight his ability to observe and analyze. Here Zoro has already checked how serious Loki’s injuries are, so he knows Loki is lying about his current ability to destroy Elbaph. That’s why he warns Hajrudin not to be fooled. He also knows Luffy very well and knows how impulsive he can be when something gets on his nerves. That’s why he reminds him of Loki’s condition and asks him not to hit him too hard. When Zoro is quiet and deep in thought, a lot of people mistake it for indifference, when in reality he’s a character who likes to observe, analyze and draw his own conclusions.
