Why I laugh when people talk about traffic in Boise

Same in Austin. I drove the LA freeways for over 20 years. These people have no idea.

Few places can match LA when it comes to traffic.

I guess waiting two rotations of the lights at Eagle and Chinden isn't so bad!

Important perspective

When I lived in SoCal my commute from Studio City to LAX area took over 2.5 hours on Friday night. It was so bad that I decided to move my entire family outside of California. My commute was longer than folks could run a marathon.

L.A. once had a great above-ground transit system. Short sighted 'leadership' killed it.

Do you remember the “ day without a Mexican” protest back on May Day, 2006? It was extremely successful with a million participants. Do you remember why they never did anything like it again? Because the traffic vanished and citizens started to wake up.
