Why I reckon Conor McGregor (Conor McGregor) has a reasonable chance of getting elected if he stands for the presidency 🇮🇪

@TheNotoriousMMA You do understand that the "president of Ireland" has very limited legislative power and is essentially a ceremonial role? Since he's the son of an immigrant, he will surely be a virulent critic of anti immigrant bigots, right?

@TheNotoriousMMA In order to even run he'd need to be nominated by at least 20 members of the Oireachtas. I know that seems like a small number when compared to something like the number of sexual assault allegations the pair of you have against yourselves, but it's actually quite a lot.

Seems most people don't even know how any candatite in Ireland can get on the ballot for that election would have to be nominated by cllrs and councils first before the public can vote so straight out as the councils all have majority of FFG, shame feiners and people before Puberty, he would not even make it to the ballot papers.
