All you need is ties to that country, it could be via a parent, like the Irish player Roberto "Pico" Lopes. He was eligible to play for Cape Verde because, despite being born and raised in Dublin, he qualifies through his Cape Verdean father. So, please do not speak of things you don’t know. Being born in a country is enough for the World Cup to allow you to play representing that country, regardless of the circumstances of how you were born there. That’s why many players are eligible to play for various different countries.
