Why I won’t be posting my Spotify Wrapped stats this year

I won’t be posting my Spotify Wrapped stats this year because I switched back to the very superior Apple Music back in June. 🗣️

Not everyone posts their stats for their self worth. There are tons of artists who post their wrapped to thank their fans for their support and love for their works

it's been a stupendous year for your music regardless of numbers... so many fresh ideas in terms of both innovation and memorability! i appreciate you calling attention to the live/online disparity as well - numerical stats are always only a fraction of the story ^^

I’m gonna be doing the same as well, honestly after watching this video it gives a bit of a bigger understanding on that. It’s not really healthy to have a whole comparison contest with stats, just enjoy the music that you make and enjoy sharing it with others ❤️🎶

Dude you’re the man. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen an artist make a statement like this that wasn’t actually anything more than virtue signaling or trying to White Knight a social issue in the scene. The way you said this makes me feel reassured as a new artist

Thank you for posting this. I really needed this reminder during this time. It’s so easy to get caught up in the metrics and lose sight of what matters most. I will not give them free advertisement anymore!

This resonates with me in some ways even if I'm not a musician but instead a drawing kind of artist, it's the same concept with us getting interaction or not on stuff we make. Seems all kinds of artists just go through the same things very often.

I’d only post mine to get some kind of exposure, but only led me toward feeling as little as the speck as I am. but I’ve learned to love my little corner . (P.S sample that burp.)
