There are no valid arguments for a war with Iran from the American perspective. It’s all risk and very little upside. As far as threats go, there’s very little evidence - if any - that Iran is close to attaining a simple gravity nuclear bomb, let alone a miniaturized one that can be used in a missile warhead. Those have to be tested. Iran doesn’t have ICBMs and isn’t close to having them. The alleged terrorism that Iran sponsors has not historically been a major issue for the US. The Houthis and Hezbollah seek political/territorial power in their respective countries, not aimless acts of terror against “infidels.” We have a history of cooperating with both against our common enemy - Al Qaeda. The possible risks and downsides are endless, and it’s been well documented. Disappointing take from Crowder.
