I lost 14 of my West Point classmates in war. Not one of them lived to see their 28th birthday. When they gave their last full measure of devotion, it wasn’t for Black Americans, White Americans, Hispanic Americans, or Asian Americans. It was for all Americans. Because in the crucible of battle, there are no hyphens, no divisions, only brothers and sisters bound by the flag on our shoulder and the country we swore to defend. We are Americans first. And because they can no longer serve, it is our sacred duty to carry forward the mission, to serve our nation, our communities, and each other, with the same courage and conviction that they showed on the battlefield. That is how we honor them.

The Democratic Party is out-of-touch and detached from the plight of hardworking people. They have little interest in understanding the values and struggles of those who bust their butts daily to make a living because their charts say the economy is great and crime is down, which is exactly why they lost. The people who voted against them and even those who disengaged are the laborers in factories, truck drivers, the trash collectors, the store clerks and stockers, the officers in uniform, the firefighters, and EMS workers, who keep the engines of our country roaring. They sustain our economy, secure our streets, and provide for their families through honest work never quite making enough but keeping their heads held high because they maintain their dignity and their values. Democrats speak a language preoccupied with credentials, meritocratic success, and cultural sensibilities that alienate those whose lives are defined not by degrees or connections but by grit, sacrifice, and community bonds, which are most Americans.

You are a black Nigerian American and that’s cool.. be proud of that I respect Nigerian Americans that are respectful Because they are a successful group in America for the most part But This is the reality.. Many immigrants come to America and y’all don’t respect or even like black Americans (Outside of our music and fashion) And that’s where the issue is Because you are literally in our country benefiting from our historical fights and leadership that got civil rights and laws passed for you to be here and have these opportunities that were not necessarily created for you in origin in the first place
