Adding a new rank before or after diamond only fixes ranked for a split or two then it’s back to the same thing. Have to fix the actual issues which is matchmaking and how points are scored.

I’ve been saying this for awhile, should go Platinum - New Rank (Emerald?) - Diamond. A lot of low level diamond players that never get out of D4 would be in the right place. This would also fix the issue of Plat players getting put into Pred lobbies

Just look at the ranked distribution and you will understand. Back in the day diamond was usually top 7-8% Now it‘s 20-30% depending on season.

With no drop ship you get 3 stacks invading smaller poi’s after drop with no threat of a 3rd party. And teams also rotating is impossible for non movement legends and apex always drops them on the opposite end of the final ring

I think its easier when your teammates actually com. otherwise solo q is just torture

cause you are in diamond 3 you are fighting mostly plats and other low diamonds and the occasional masters player and pred players. Alot of the people who grind in diamond at the end of the season are just trying to hit masters cause they couldn do it during the height of the Szn
