if these ignoramuses had any idea what capitalism is they would stop falsely blaming it for everything they don't like. Every modern comfort and convenience they enjoy and rely on is a result of capitalism, which is people inventing, investing, producing, and trading freely.

Liberal democracy is not inherently violent. Like any organising principle, it can be co-opted by forces antithetical to its aims. Theologies can similarly be co-opted, a tragedy for theocracies.

Who is in control of these democracies?

Lies. Empires have always existed. Greed is the motivation. Capitalism is just freed trade. Empires steal people to expand their tax base.
