Why is Kingdom Hearts III so overhated?

1. The rides made the game trivial at launch 2. Most of the worlds felt shallow and vacant 3. Weird VO pacing and cringe writing. 4. Hardly any FF characters 5. Frozen singalong bit. 6. Aqua deserved more screen time especially after 2.9 was so cool 7. Game felt rushed after waiting 13 years 8. No coliseum? 9. Story pacing was terrible. 10. Requiring us to play the other games to get the full story between 2 & 3 on different consoles and then barely even feature those characters was stupid. 11. Combat was also extremely floaty People will say the dlc’s fixed it, never tried them and to me the damage was done.

You spend 2-3 hours building snowmen and crap in the Frozen world but saving Ven and Aqua only takes like 20 minutes.

Bunch of reasons. Game was easier than vanilla KH2, no critical mode, 9 save slots, no Data Org on launch, no FF Characters, no mid game section, Twilight Town was butchered same as Radiant Garden, Disney world spam until all plot shoved into the end, pacing and writing was ass.

Probably because that actual plot of the game happens in the last third of its runtime. I've never been more disappointed playing the culmination of the entire franchise just to discover that 2/3 of the game was meandering bullshit.

It's not overhated, it just sucks compared to the others. I'm not even a KH fan, all I did was watch my sister play it and it was wildly obvious.

It was the worlds... the other games felt like you were part of the world... 3 felt like you were watching a condensed sped up ad of the movies

Because it's bloated with 3D Disney Worlds. Olympus was ass and so was Frozen. Plus we could've had the REMATCH OF THE DECADE! Lingering Will vs. Terranort, but they were like "nah, fuck that, that would require effort." Plus, the story was rushed, even if you played them all.

I've realized kh3 gets a lot of hate because it's not kh2

Attractions sucks Pacing is bad even for KH standards Major plot points are resolved poorly Too much Disney at the cost of having no FF It's end doesn't feel like "the book ends" episode (at least for me)

Because it's better than KH2, but a lot of people won't accept that.

No Final Fantasy characters.

Some goofballs played this game w/o playing any of the other games or even funnier only playing 1 & 2, people complained about there not being reaction commands, even though the developers removed the commands out the game because people complained about them in KH2 💀

The story is not the ending everyone wants and is an ending that promised more but has yet to completely deliver on that. Also I heard they changed the battle system from what was peak in KH2.

Am I the only one who liked every Kigdom Hearts game in existence?

Personally? Sora felt like he was maturing through the games and 2 was damn near perfect in terms of him being HIM but 3 feels like he went backwards in terms of maturing with time. But maybe I didn't give 3 enough of a chance.

Because it's a bad Kingdom Hearts game

-Too much focus on Disney and not enough on original content -Lack of post game content (before ReMind) -Unsatisfying Final Boss -Lack of real stakes to the story (basically everyone dead in previous games comes back to life in KH3)

My main gripe: the story had the weight of a side game, teasing the future and resolving old plot threads quickly & simply, despite each one having more build up over the many games leading into KH3 Here’s the BBS cutscene. Done Here’s the Days cutscene. Done

To be fair this world is what the rest of the game should’ve been .

To be honest, the attraction is a bit… “too much” unless we turn it off. There’s not much originality to the story except for Toy Story, Monster’s Inc and Big Hero 6 world

All the Memorable and Exciting Parts of the Game were saved until the very end of the Game, Making the overall experience and lead up to it rather Bland and Slow. It was also missing several Combat Mechanics such as Reaction Commands, Quickstep and Aerial Dodge. It feels deserved

Yo soy fan de KH desde que salió el 1 en ps2 y sinceramente... El 3 fue la mayor cagada de la franquicia... Tio recordaba que en el 1 y 2 tenia más dificultad que en el 3... Y que en las 2 ultimas horas se centran en la trama del juego... No me gustó nada y encima compré el DLC..

I've come around to this game abit ( Re:Mind DLC helps massively) but the pacing of this game is horrid for a big climax to a series. Nothing of importance happens for the first 70% of the game and then the last 30% is a mixture of really amazing moments and some missed potential

The Attractions mechanic was too strong and frequent along with it being the easiest KH game at launch (Fixed later). KH characters felt super back seat (Only Toy story, Monster inc and finale, with them sometimes treated as jokes.) And some sections being too repetitive.

Took too long to come out, 80% of the story is in the last 20% of the game. The worlds are waaaaaay too big, the mini games, the combat is a step backward from other superior systems, the bosses suck, and so on and so forth I still liked it tho

People hate KH3 because it wasnt like KH 2 they felt it ended to quickly. It suffers from they unreasonable hype.
