Why is Pork prohibited in Islam?

Better to avoid explaining why it's haram like this you can say "perhaps," but the best is to stop at: Allah made it haram, we hear and obey (Surah Baqarah, v.285).

Raising pigs requires a lot of water. In the desert, water is very scarce. That's the reason.

What's ur opinion Jesus as prophet of Allah could permit to eat such unclean &impure animals? It's not in the Tora or in Quran. Jesus did not bring any single laws concerning halal or Haram but he endorsed the laws of Moses (ref. Book of Johan)where pigs were not allowed to eat?
