It’s almost as if lawlessness is being enabled so that a “strongman” (big government/global governance/etc) can step in and bring “order” out of chaos.

It’s a means to an end. The retail stores are just closing in those areas. That will never be sustainable to a company trying to make money. Especially with quarterly earning, shareholders, etc… Walmarts and walgreens are leaving areas like this. The rest will follow.
