These cunts will be chanting on the streets next week about CO2 & plastic straws ruining the oceans.

Left there by youth who will tell you they have anxiety about climate change and think carbon taxes are a good thing

They’re such a thick shower of bastards. If I were running the show, I’d say we were gathering the lot up and sending them to the poor in Africa, even if I quietly binned them. You could an NGO of interns and still bin them. But look at these idiots.

They pay 300 euro a ticket. People come and clean them up and sell them. Why do you give a fuck? Its not like this is a lakeside vista.

Every tent should be given a number that corresponds with the ticket numbers. If their crap isn’t removed, fine them.

Ive done the clean up at glastonbury 3 times now and its exactly the same though that looks exceptionally bad rubbish wise. All the tents left at glasto recycled and given to third world etc.Everything recyclable is used again .

They've paid through the nose for tickets. The weather was shite. What's the big deal in the organisations cleaning up? Maybe don't allow camping anymore?

They're cleaned up and given to charity..

No they aren't. What charity takes broken tents and mouldy airbeds?

Will's profile picture

@PatrickNau86069 It’s the biggest myth going. It’s the sort of stuff people like Pat say to make themselves feel better. In reality it’s proven every year only 5% go to any charity and that’s on a particularly good year. The rest into landfill.

@garrethmcdaid @PatrickNau86069 Factually. No it isn’t. Haha. You whopper.

@PaulGroove8trt @garrethmcdaid The people running the festival did take it over from the more crusty groups that were doing it. A few years ago..

Every Festival needs to take a £25 deposit if you take your tent home you get it back, if you leave your tent you lose the deposit and it goes to an environmental charity

The funny thing is half of them probably attended some environmental talk while they were there. If festivals were singles, EP would’ve the b side

Very difficult thing to police or force action on unfortunately. The EP demographic will be the least conscientious. I was at BTP in June (21+) and the majority of the crowd pack up their tents and get rid of all the rubbish in their own area. Only bits left behind

Human behaviour is to blame. We see the same thing on our lovely beaches when we get a good spell of weather. Rubbish just left for the tide to take it out. Massive fines is the only way you'll stop this carry on. You made the effort to bring it there, least you can do is bin it!

Everyone should be allocated a campsite and number for their tent and roll a few skip bins out for clean up on Sunday and Monday, stick a few warden in each site. It wouldn’t be hard to clean up if there were bins close by and a bit of motivation.

One of the many reasons I don't attend that piece of shit festival. EP and these types of festivals have ruined camping for those of us who actually enjoy camping. Camping etiquette does not exist anymore thanks to EP.

It is horrendous, especially the visual and context. But the a lot of people commit a lot worse environmental acts of vandalism on a regular basis, it's just not as visually ugly, and the impact is often remote from us.

Why wouldn’t it be allowed? The organisers will clear it all up the punters spent an average of probably €1000 on tickets, food, drink and drugs.
