@Kimberl82111287 Those who don't vote for Trump because he will save only some babies is like the captain of the Titanic allowing no one on lifeboats because they couldn't take all passengers.

@Freedom_Alley3 A lot of "Catholics" are in name only. Born into that faith, but not practicing.

What makes me wonder is how can someone vote for demon-rats, and then celebrate Christmas???

I've actually read comments from some fellow Catholics that they would in no way vote for Pres Trump bc he's an adulterer! Is he one now? Most likely NOT! Fr Ripperger on voting for the lesser of 2 evils!

Please qualify : “why is this so hard for “many” Catholics to understand. I have always understood this and have voted accordingly all my adult life.

It is a grave sin to vote for politicians who support abortion. If both politicians support abortion in some degree, it's your duty to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Because priests/bishops still welcome "pro-abortion Catholic" politicians into their churches and refuse to withhold communion from them. It sends the message to voting parishioners that the candidates are an acceptable choice. Lead by example and embrace controversy.
