Grounding is the practice of connecting our body to the electrical field of the Earth. The benefits can include lower stress, better healing, improved recovery, better sleep and more. Humans are meant to live in direct contact with the Earth’s subtle electric charge, but have lost this beneficial connection thanks to inventions of the modern world such as buildings, furniture and shoes with insulated plastic-soles. Ideally we’re spending our days barefoot in nature grounding, but I understand people’s lives aren’t like that these days. The hook and copper wire method I describe enables us to connect ourselves electrically to the ground all night long, in a world where we don’t often get this connection. And it’s a super easy and affordable way to do it. The neighbor hired a company to remove their tree, they even have a 55ft bucket lift, and the workers seem to know what they are doing. Until you see they tied a small rope to the tree, they assure you it will pull the tree the other way and they’ve don’t it many times before. Now you use a tree in the middle of your living room, and the company is claiming it was an act of god, are they still responsible?
