Why is traffic so bad in Chapelizod? Because we've decided that commuting drivers are more important than children walking to school.

The entitlement of the drivers is horrible. The rat race on knock maroon hill / college road absolutely ridiculous! I've stopped cycling there out of fear to die. Close passes and constant racing.

Would scraping the toll on the M50 ease traffic flow through Chapelizod??

its literally the same in every town and village in Ireland. cars are prioritised over people. its insane. no zebra crossings where there should be. Italy,Spain and the Netherlands ,in fact most of Europe is far ahead of ireland in this regard.

There needs to be another bridge. One that comes off the chapo bypass just after chapo and connects onto the north side of the river. Simple.

Why? Is there a lot of traffic on the bypass with a destination in Phoenix Park?
