For a start: proposals for no tax on tips, on overtime pay, end Reagan's tax on social security income, $5K child care credit, tariffs to force US corps back to US. Plus he talks like them. Is crude like them. Is hated by same people they hate & doesn't call them garbage ....

Yep, all important factors. His good side is that he’s the anti neoliberal.

Were blue-collar workers better off during Trump’s term? I don’t think so. There is no real evidence to back their believes.

Of course not. He’s a con man. But the Democrats gave him something to con the working class over.

On Rogan’s podcast, Trump admitted significant mistakes in his first term—especially in appointments. Trolling a network swarm (@johnrobb) ≠ Not admitting mistakes. Would you ever accept an appointment, if Trump offered you one? (I wonder if Michael Hudson would.)

Nice analysis. It seems to me that many in the political class have a sneering, contemptuous attitude to the majority of the population, and have completely forgotten who they're supposed to be working for. I think smaller government would help.

It's for Trump now to take away the plebs right to vote and then the banks and fossil fuels have won outright. With only the military to even think about a revolution and we know how dovish they aren't.

The democrats lost when they handed the nomination to Biden on a silver platter. They failed to give voters a choice. Likewise when they shoved Harris down voters throats. Trump was chosen by the people. Harris/Biden were chosen by apparatchiks.
